Happy Birthday Hudson

Happy Birthday Hudson!
Sun May 26th the party continued & Hudson turned 1!

Hudson is such a Happy, Happy, Happy Boy!

He's smart, happy, loving & loves being a little brother.
He doesn't say much but when wants something he points. When he wants food he starts tapping on his table. He loves sweet especially fruit. He loves playing catch & cars & trains like his big brother's.
He loves to wave Bye, he loves to give High Fives. We think he may start walking soon because 2 days ago he stood all by himself & he was so proud of his accomplishment.
He knew today was a special day because every time we said "cheese" he would make the biggest goofiest smile ever. I loved it!.

My favourite "cheese" photos:

Today was the awaited Tractor Birthday Party.
For the past week Bryant would wake up every morning, come find me & tell me how many more sleeps until Myles Birthday. On Myles official Birthday Bryant wished Myles lots of Happy Birthday's.  On Hudson's Birthday Bryant excitedly wished Hudson a Happy Birthday. Myles response "it my Birthday". Bryant's response "no it's Hudson's Birthday so you wish him a Happy Birthday".

The Birthday Party Tractor Cakes:

The Tractor Decorations with little Tractor's for everyone.

The Birthday Boys with their Birthday Cakes.
Myles & Hudson both were eager to attack the cakes.

Dave had to hold Hudson back & we still lost a few parts of the cake in the few seconds of each picture.

All 3 boys "smiling" for the picture.
Don't you just love Hudson's "cheese". It was my favourite part of the day.

A few pictures of the boys & our decorations.

For birthday attire we suited them in yellow & green shirts.
These guys are my favourite little cuties.

For the birthday dinner we had Grandpa & Grandma Born & Stephanie & Stephanie over for a family BBQ. These boys love the Born's but sadly I didn't get too many pictures of them. I must next time.

After dinner we lighted the candles & sang Happy Birthday.
Dave was in charge of keeping Hudson away from the candle.
But, Hudson still was too quick & may have put on the candle before the singing begin.
Bryant & Myles had been waiting all day to get those tractors off the cake.

Hudson & Bryant love sweets & cake.
Myles loves taking things apart & moved on to taking apart our little paper planes.

After cake we moved on to presents.
All 3 boys loved opening Presents.
Bryant was such a great big brother & helped Hudson.
Hudson loved having help from his Big Brother.

After Presents we moved on to our "tractor" pinata.
The boys had a little extra help from Uncle Stephen but after a lot of attacking the candy fell out.

We had such a fun tractor birthday Party.
We love our Boys.

Happy 3rd Birthday Myles

Happy 3rd Birthday to our Little Myles!

Sat May 25th we celebrated Myles 3rd Birthday!
We love our funny, smart, happy & stubborn little man.
Myles loved telling everyone it was his birthday this past weekend.
When family called to wish him Happy Birthday he proudly said "3" & held up his 3 fingers even though they were just speaking to him on the phone.

Saturday morning we started the day with Tball game #2.
Grandpa & Grandpa Born came to the game.
Myles was up to batt 1st this game & then Bryant was up second.
Tball is great because everyone on the team gets to hit & run the bases.
These little guys are way too cute.
After the 1st inning Myles was done & ready to head on out for McDonald's breakfast.

Myles had decided he wanted to have a tractor party.
To celebrate Myles Birthday we took a roadtrip to a Farming store that had a row of John Deere Tractors. We picked up a few tractor presents & then headed out for haircuts & family lunch & cupcakes.

We had a nice family day celebrating our little Man's 3rd Birthday.
Myles is a great addition to our family.
The Party Celebration's to be continued on Sunday....

The past few months?

Well, I have been a slacker with blogging. Again.
Mostly b/c I have no interest in working on the computer after working on one all day.
Also, because Dave has been spending every minute every evening applying for jobs.

Here are a few highlights over the past few months.

1. Blue Jay's Game

Last weekend we celebrated my Dad's birthday in Toronto.
Dave & I were lucky enough to get Stephen & Stephanie to babysit & the two of us went to Toronto for the weekend. We got to go to a Blue Jay's game with my Dad, my Mom, Bryant, Laura, Josh & Jenna. We also then went out to Dave's favourite restaurant for Boston Pizza. It was such a fun getaway.

2. Uncle Matt came to town.

We had Dave's Uncle Matt come to visit so we had everyone over for Sunday Dinner.
Dave comes from a family of all boys. Dave's Dad comes from a family of 3 boys. And we also have 3 Born Boys. I have decided we need to have a family reunion & take pictures of all these generals of Born Boys.

3. Basketball Season Began & Ended

Bryant ended his 1st season of Basketball & loved getting his 1st Medal.
With a house full of boys with lots of energy we thought sports are the trick to keeping them busy.

Here are a few pictures of Bryant during Basketball Season.
The YMCA coaches were great!

4. Cleveland Zoo Rock & Roll Relay Marathon.

On the day of the final Basketball practice &  I too decided I was going to earn a medal.
That Saturday evening was the Cleveland Zoo Rock & Roll Marathon team Relay.

4 of us got together & ran the marathon with each lap being 1.2 miles long.
It took me 6 weeks to train for it & I do not like running but surprisingly I survived.
The boys were super excited for mommy to have a medal.
They were also the best cheering squad at the 1 mile mark!
For the next few days Bryant walked around with Mommy's medal & his medal.

 5. TBall Season Began.

And Myles is officially allowed to play sports.
Or at least almost officially allowed. He turns 3 in May so I figured it was close enough.

Baseball Practice started this past Tuesday May 7th.
Both boys were so excited to start to play. I think Bryant was even more excited to be on a team with Myles. These two boys are best buds & love every minute together.

Bryant is always looking out for his brother. The other day I threatened to get rid of Myles blanket "barney" & a few days later Bryant came to me & said "Mommy do not throw out Myles barney he loves it".

Here they are at the park the week prior to baseball practice.
Bryant loved running the bases.
Myles response was "that's kind of hard. I'm done".

We got a lot of work to do but I think they will get the hang of it.
While at 3rd base a little girl decided to pick Myles a flower & give it to him.
I think she gave hime a flower because she saw that he enjoyed picking at the dirt while waiting for the ball.

After about 30 minutes Myles also decided he was done.

6. Swimming Lessons

Aunt Mary signed Bryant up for swimming lessons at the YMCA.
Bryant loves swimming. I think it is his favourite sport but only time will tell.
One Saturday while Dave was working I decided to take all 3 boys to the pool.

They all love to swim.

Well that's a small glimpse of the past few months.
I have more to mention & will do it the next free moment I may get....
